It appears that Adrienne might only still talk to Shannon out of pity and because Shannon helped Adrienne when she was younger.Īdrienne is a pretty girl (as stated by the book) with light skin and long blonde hair that she often wears in two braids pulled back behind her head, or down. She is very hot and cold, as sometimes she seems to be close with Shannon and wants to hang out with her and other times doesn’t believe her and would rather hang out with Jenny. Adrienne is also very kind as because it shows that she helps Shannon when she falls down at the beginning of the book. She also admits that Shannon is obnoxious, showing that she is truthful and not afraid to speak her mind. She calls Shannon and tells her that some of her classes are with high schoolers. She is sort of loyal to her because she was her first friend in kindergarten, and helped her through a lot in her past years.Īdrienne is very smart, as shown when she transfers to a gifted and talented program elsewhere. Other times she hangs out with Jen and Shannon.Īdrienne was good friends with Shannon. She doesn't always know whether to hang out with Shannon or the popular girls, and often goes with the popular girls because of peer pressure. Adrienne is popular but she still kind to Shannon.
